Juicy J Three 6 Mafia
In 1991, he was among the co-founding members of the Southern hip hop group called Three 6 Mafia. The other members of the group included DJ Paul and Lord Infamous, rappers Crunchy Black, Gangsta Boo and Koopsta Knicca. Beside DJ Paul, Juicy J started the Prophet Entertainment.
In 1994, they shifted from the label to their business partner Nick “Scarfo” Jackson launching Hypnotize Minds. the group later released their debut official album named Mystic Stylez. They went on to release 8 albums. He went on to launch his solo album Chronicles of the Juice Man, under North North Records on July 2, 2002.
At the 78th Academy Awards in 2006, Juicy J, together with DJ Paul, Crunchy Black, and Frayser Boy, was awarded an Academy Award for Best Original Song for “It’s Hard out Here for a Pimp. On June 16, 2009, he released his second studio album Hustle Till I Die under Hypnotize Minds and Select-O-Hits.
