Twig Clark is a stage manager and Catherine Tate’s former partner. They have a daughter, who was born in January 2003 at London’s Chelsea and Westminster Hospital following emergency surgery. Despite being together for nine years, Catherine and Twig decided not to marry.
Tate, Twig Clark’s ex-partner, is a British actress, comedian, and writer. She has received multiple prizes for her work on the BBC sketch comedy series The Catherine Tate Show, including an International Emmy Award and seven BAFTA nominations.
Tate’s television acting career began with roles in serial dramas such as The Bill and London’s Burning. Tate began performing stand-up comedy in 1996 and has been on television shows such as The Harry Hill Show and That Peter Kay Thing.
Tate has been a supporter of the Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust since August 2006. She participated in the charity’s 2011 Charity Calendar 2011. Tate suffered from post-natal depression, which she finally recovered from after filming The Catherine Tate Show’s second series. She also has panic attacks on occasion.
